Infrastructure: Support urgent repairs and upgrades to ShawU’s aging facilities, these investments are essential to ensuring safe, reliable, and living/learning spaces for our students.

Emerging Priorities: Help ShawU manage unexpected expenses and rising costs across campus. ShawU relies on donor support to help sustain daily operations and maintain institutional stability.

Scholarships: Provide direct financial assistance to students whose needs continue to grow. Your gift helps to keep a ShawU education accessible and affordable, ensuring students can enroll, persist, and graduate without financial barriers.

UNCF/Shaw University Pooled Endowment: Supports the historic investment in the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Members Pooled Endowment Fund, which will strengthen the long-term financial health of Shaw University endowed funds. ShawU will receive a $5 million endowment from UNCF to be paired with a $5 million matching campaign the University must raise, building a $10 million permanent endowed fund.
