2018 VERDE VALLEY WINE FESTIVAL CULINARY/LIBATION APPLICATION
On behalf of Four Eight Wineworks and the non-profit organization, The Clarkdale Foundation, we are honored to extend an exclusive invitation for you to participate in the 3rd annual Verde Valley Wine Festival (VVWF). In its third year, the festival plans to set a high standard of excellence in the Verde Valley for wine, food and fun! The event puts an emphasis on showcasing Arizona wineries, breweries, Clarkdale artists, local restaurants and the progressive culinary movement in Northern and Central Arizona. Only 30 Arizona wineries, breweries and restaurants will be invited to participate on Saturday May 12th, and we are honored to identify you as part of the elite chosen.
Please note that any winery that participates at the VVWF must sample wines made only with Arizona grapes; this rule will be strictly enforced.

EVENT TIMES: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM for General Public Admission & Limited VIP
OVERVIEW: Restaurants participating in the Verde Valley Wine Festival will be asked to provide menu and/or cocktail pairings for a minimum of 900 to a maximum of 1000 attendees.
There will be a strong emphasis on presentation, on- site cooking and preparation.
Decorative and creative displays are highly encouraged to enhance the experience for attendees. This is an opportunity to bring your culinary best, and truly market your restaurant and culinary perspective to an eager audience from the Verde Valley and beyond.
MARKETING & MEDIA: Participating at Verde Valley Wine Festival comes with great benefits!
• A broad PR program, with good visibility of participating chefs and restaurants in print, radio and social media prior to the event.
• Past media partners included Verde Independent, Kudos, Red Rock News, Yavapai Broadcasting, KNAU and so much more!
• Print media (posters/rack cards) provided to restaurants, art galleries, wine tasting rooms and concierge services in hotels throughout the Verde Valley.

Ticket Prices: General Admission is $35.00/person. VIP Tickets $125 - $190/person

PARTICIPATION IN THE VERDE VALLEY WINE FESTIVAL 2018 INCLUDES:
• One 6 foot table
• 1 linen, 1 quick cover
• Display space at the main event
• 10X10 white tent
• Up to 40 pounds of ice
• VVWF will cover the costs for all required health permit applications for all participating food vendors (Each participant will receive their approved permit upon check-in at the event). Wineries and Breweries are not required to fill out a Yavapai County Health Department application. Participating Distilleries only need an application if they are making and serving mixed drinks.
• A broad PR program, with good visibility of participating chefs and restaurants in print, radio and social media prior to the event.
• For All Participating Wineries: $200 Honorarium
• For any Participating Restaurant or Brewery traveling over 50 miles to get to the event: $50 Honorarium
• You will be provided with a MAXIMUM of 4 staff lanyards for the event, which will be provided on the day of the event at the time of check in.
• Complimentary tickets will be issued to each participant on a REQUEST basis. Each restaurant is entitled to 2 complimentary tickets to give to family and friends. Staff working the event does not need a ticket to attend. Tickets will be available for pickup at the event.
• Raffle - The raffle is a major fundraising component of the
event. We would greatly appreciate your consideration in donating a gift card or other item to this year's event. If you do plan on making a donation please deliver it to the festival at time of check-in.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING FROM THE APPLICANTS:
• Provide a minimum of 900 and up to a maximum of 1000 menu samplings for event attendees
• Restaurant must provide all serving utensils, preparation materials, etc.
• All serving and plating items must be provided by the restaurant
• Restaurants are strongly encouraged to have original and artistic presentation at the Verde Valley Wine Festival. Decorative table decor, serving dishes and other creative displays add to the event atmosphere.
• Check-In for load-in & set-up at the Clarkdale Town Park between 9:00am - 10:30am
• Provide all staff to oversee your booth on May 12th from your check-in until the event ends at 5PM.
• ALL restaurants must be completely set up and ready to serve by 10:45am on the day of the event.
• You must comply with all local, state and Yavapai County Health Department regulations.
