Public Holiday Shuttle Services Cairns Airport
Due to pay rates on public holidays being 150% more that standard daily rates as of 4 May 2026 we can only offer reduced scheduled services.

1. Public holiday shuttles departing Port Douglas: 06:15, 09:00, midday and 16:00 only.
2. Public holiday shuttles departing Cairns Airport: 09:45, 12:45, 14:45 and 17:45 only.
3. Pick up: Meet your driver with your name on a sign at Domestic T2 baggage carousel 3, or in the Arrivals Hall of International T1.
5. Please book more than 48 hours before travel.
6. All services commence and terminate at Cairns Airport.
7. Private transfers available all day. Please return to the website you left to book private transfers on any public holiday.

  • Please select your travel day which adds a flat rate $20 fee per booking to all transfers on public holidays. This contributes towards public holiday pay rates which are 150% more than standard rates.
  • There are four shared shuttles from Port Douglas to Cairns Airport, and four shared shuttles from Cairns Airport to Port Douglas:

  • Child seats available but not compulsory on Queensland buses over 13 seats.
  • EG Enter 2 x B, 1 x RFR. Child seats must be booked ahead so we can allocate and install. B = booster, FFR = front facing baby seat, RFR = rear facing baby seat.

    Oversize are $20 each one way: golf bag, fishing gear, guitar, bike or bike bag, keyboard piano. Surfboards only allowed on our private transfer service.
