Peak Advising Period Notice - January 2023
From Tuesday, January 3 – Friday, January 27, 2023, Counseling & Advising will be offering same day, virtual meetings (first come, first served basis). No appointments required. Wait time can vary from no way to more than an hour.
Same day meetings will mostly be held virtually by phone or zoom and focus on immediate advising needs in preparation for the spring 2023 semester.
Appointment scheduling in Starfish will resume on Monday, January 30, 2023.
During this period, go to: montgomerycollege.edu/can and click on the "check in to waiting room" button to meet with someone in Counseling & Advising.
Scope of Counseling & Advising Service
Counseling & Advising DOES NOT have access to financial aid records or advise on the following:
1) FAFSA - Application for Financial Aid
2) Financial aid awards (grants, scholarships, loans, etc.)
3) work-study
