Technology in the Library Classroom
Our library classroom has been upgraded to create a more interactive and student-friendly environment:
Laptops are available for all students during the session
Students are encouraged to bring their own device (laptop, tablet, or phone) to practice on the tools they use most often
A new monitor layout improves visibility: one large center monitor plus two side monitors make it easy for students, even those in the back, to follow along with visuals
Please take this into consideration when scheduling library instruction.

Classroom faculty need to be present in the session. In addition, having you present adds to the session by:
• emphasizing the importance of the instruction;
• helping to maintain order and discipline;
• allowing you to contribute in ways that can encourage interaction and questions about the application of library resources, both in general and to your particular assignment;
• and providing you with information about new resources of which you may not be aware.
