  • Eligibility

    Public Diplomacy funds are subject to statutory authorities that restrict the eligibility and purposes of applicants and projects.
    - Eligible entities include non-profit organizations, think tanks, civil society, cultural associations, artists, government agencies, educational institutions, etc. For-profit entities are strictly prohibited from receiving these funds.
    - Proposals that include rural, vulnerable, or less represented communities will be valued positively.
    - Funds may not be used to support religious, political, or charity activities, fundraising campaigns, construction projects, research projects, or projects whose main objective is individual enrichment or organizational profits.

    a- What are the characteristics of the audience you are trying to reach with the funds you are requesting from the U.S. Embassy? For example, young people between the ages of 14 and 18 who have dropped out of the formal education system; rural women entrepreneurs; afro-descendent civil society communities in the interior; etc.
    b- Why have you chosen this audience?
    c- Through what means will you recruit or reach your audience?
    d- What is the total number of participants and/or audience reached for your project?
  • Please explain how your project supports and encourages the DEIA principles?
  • Describe your Monitoring and Evaluation plan.
    Monitoring is the regular follow-up of project activities and results. Evaluation analyzes the impact and effectiveness of the project, such as the relevance of the objectives, the quality of design and implementation, the efficiency in the use of resources, and the sustainability of the results. M&E can be carried out using various tools, methods, and approaches such as site visits, pre and post surveys, interviews, focus groups, cost-benefit analysis, etc.
