The purpose of this section is to assist us in understanding the depth of your experience, your ability to manage these valuable yachts and your capacity to ensure the safety of your crew. Please relate, in as much detail possible, the type of command and crewing experience you have had and the nature of the areas in which you have navigated. If you have past charter experience, please indicate with which company.

Often the crew participating in the voyage have experience and training which helps Virgin Traders in assessing the overall competence of the charter group to handle the vessel safely and effectively. Please detail any relevant experience and training of your charter group.

If you are concerned about your ability to mark YES to the above question, please speak directly to us so that this can be discussed. If necessary, we can arrange for a 'Training Captain' for your first day, or for your full charter term on board as required. The training captain will assist you in all respects from your point of arrival, provide a complete systems briefing, navigation briefing and lead you through a variety of vessel handling drills which serve as an excellent learning experience.

Should you wish to cruise to Anegada with your Virgin Trader's yacht, permission must be gained from Virgin Traders prior to your charter. If you would like to request permission, please indicate below. As entry to Anegada can prove difficult, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to navigate out of line of sight, without the aid of GPS, and may be asked about your boating knowledge before permission is granted. Access to Anegada may still be restricted, subject to local weather conditions.
