Performance Pathway
Young Antlers is the start of our Performance Pathway players and as such players must qualify by one of the following criteria
How does your child qualify for the programme
Plays for a Hertfordshire Cricket Club
Lives in Hertfordshire
Attends a State School in Hertfordshire
Attends an Independent School in Hertfordshire

Cricket Experience
Young Antlers is a hard ball cricket programme and as such players need to have experience of hard ball cricket or be ready to transition to hard ball.
Which of these levels has your child reached

Players need to be able to meet all the fundamental skills of cricket (ie bowl consistently with a straight arm) and have a knowledge of the rules of cricket.
If players join the programme and are not of the required standard then unfortunately they will not be able to continue.

As Young Antlers is the start of our Performance Pathway, players are not permitted to be taking part in any other County programmes (including County Age Groups; Middlesex district / borough; Essex area; Beds Hotshots; Bucks junior Pathway)
The one player - one pathway criteria is to make the system fair for everybody and we compare lists of players taking part with other counties.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOW CHECK YOUR APPLICATION
We will endeavour to offer as many children as possible a place at their chosen venue. If you apply for a place at a venue which does not cater for your child's age group your application will not be processed so please ensure that you have answered all questions correctly and truthfully. Incorrect details such as entering the wrong date of birth delay the processing of your form.

Once you have submitted the form you will receive a confirmation email from a no reply email address. Please double check your junk mail/spam folders if you do not receive this. Once your application has been processed you will be sent an email notifying you if we can offer your child a space and if we can a request for payment.
