LSWO California Conf. 2019: Workshop Proposals
The Latino Social Workers Organization and Latinx Center of Excellence (Berkeley Social Welfare) invites Social Work faculty , Clinical social workers, Community social workers, community organizers, policy analysts, and allied health professionals to submit workshop proposals.

The Conference will take place on April 4 and 5, 2019 in Oakland, CA.

Complete this online form, and upload your resume(s), or Vitaes, and abstract. (up to 3 total speakers for each proposal.).

January 18, 2019 is the deadline to send in proposals.

Workshop session abstracts should include a topic that: (1) adds to the current knowledge base in social work practice, policy, theory, and research methodology, and (2) offers clear meaningful implications for social work research, policy/advocacy, and individual/family practice. 3) focused on the Latinx community. Please submit an abstract of 500 words or less that describes the content and how it will be addressed.

Speakers whose workshops are accepted for this conference will receive a special discounted speaker fee.

The LSWO will be reviewing the workshop proposals as they are submitted, and will inform all speakers regarding the status of their workshop proposal by January 21, 2019.
