Eligibility

• Membership Required: Only WORIC members may request a dedication.
• Age Limit: For infants and toddlers up to 18 months.
• Legal Guardians: Must provide proof if requesting on behalf of the child.

Scheduling
• When: Fourth Sundays of each month during the 9:30am worship.
• How: First-come, first-served. Overflow requests are moved to the next available date.
• Group Limit: Maximum of 2 babies per ceremony.

Ceremony Details
• Who Goes Forward: Parents, sibling(s), and the baby only.
• Godparents: May attend but do not go to the front.
• Reserved Seating: Available upon request. Must be filled by 9:30am and once praise and worship is done, all remaining seats will be filled by the congregation.

Private Dedications
• Available in-office by request. Conducted by Apostle or WORIC minister.

• Grandparents can only request if they are legal guardians.
• Children over 18 months are not eligible for dedication but may receive a blessing from Apostle after service.

Registration Process
• How: Online form or church office.
• Deadline: At least 2 weeks before the ceremony.
• Confirmation: Families will be notified once scheduled.
• Check-in at the front lobby with WORIC staff or designated person when the parents arrive.

Arrival Instructions
•Check-In Location: Parents should check in at the front desk in the lobby to notify staff of their arrival and receive further instructions.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive by 9:00am to ensure smooth seating and coordination before the service begins.
• Your family has up to 2 reserved rows (24 seats) held until 9:30 AM.
• Parents, baby, and siblings should sit on the end seats for easy access to the front during the dedication.
• Once the sanctuary doors open, your family may enter and be seated together.
• Reserved seats must be filled by 9:30 AM or they may be reassigned.
• Livestream Access: WORIC provides professional livestreaming of the service. Family and friends who cannot attend in person can watch live or view the recording live on WORIC’s social media platforms (@wordofrestoration) YouTube, Facebook, and Livestream.

What to Expect
• Apostle will personally address your family.
• Family/friends will be acknowledged from their seats.
• A prayer and blessing will be spoken over your child.
• A family photo will be taken, and a certificate will be provided.

Dress Code
• Dress neatly and modestly to honor the occasion.
• Photos will be taken, so come prepared for a memorable moment.

Media & Photography
• Personal Photos: You may take photos from your seat or any aisle except the center aisle. This helps preserve the view for our media team and congregation.
• Professional Coverage: Our Media and Photography Ministry will capture one high-quality family photo at the end.
• Front Area Access: Please do not approach the front via the center aisle at any time. This ensures you are not in the camera shot and allows our team to record the ceremony smoothly.

Spiritual Significance
• Dedication is a commitment to raise your child in God’s house.
• It’s a declaration that your child belongs to God and will be nurtured in His Word.
• Parents remain responsible for guiding their child in faith.
