  • ABOUT WYMAN LEADERS:

    The Wyman Leaders Program provides long-term, year-round support beginning in the spring of 9th grade and continuing through two years after high school graduation.

    Throughout this journey, students build life and leadership skills, explore postsecondary opportunities, and prepare for future careers. Participants develop strong, supportive relationships with Wyman staff and peers within their cohort.

    Programming includes intensive summer experiences, monthly group and individual coaching, and enrichment activities throughout the school year.
  • SELECTION CRITERIA

    Applicants must:

    Currently be in 9th grade

    Attend one of the following schools:
    Central Visual and Performing Arts, Grand Center Arts Academy, Hazelwood Central, Hazelwood East, Lift for Life Academy, or University City High School

    We are seeking students who demonstrate most or all of the following:

    Strong commitment to multi-year program participation, including summer sessions

    Diligence, a strong work ethic, college/career minded and leadership potential

    Financial need or limited financial resources

    First-generation college student status (first in family to attend or graduate from college)

    Availability to attend the 10-day summer camp, June 22–July 3, 2026

    Willingness to participate in an interview with Wyman Staff (student will be notified in early 2026 if they have been selected for an interview, which will be held at your school).
