Call to Indigenous Artists - Art Purchase
To celebrate, honour and share Indigenous culture, the London Arts Council (LAC) invites Indigenous Artists to submit digital photographic reproductions of their original artwork to be considered for use (purchase).
Artists' name and title of the artwork will be noted. A brief written story or description about the artwork may also be included.

Selected digital images will be displayed on the London Arts Council's Indigenous Arts website curated by Summer Bressette and designed by Katie Wilhelm, visitors will learn more about:

/ the land and waterways; its history before and after Colonial contact
/ the Ancestors; before and after Colonial contact
/ the Canadian history of Residential Schools
/ Indigeneity; Reawakening and Resurgence
/ traditional and contemporary Indigenous art forms and artists

Please Note:

/ Call to Indigenous Artists 18 years of age or older who reside in the city of London and surrounding First Nations (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee-Deleware Nation).

/ Digital photographic reproduction(s) of the artwork(s) must be the original creation and sole intellectual property of the Artist making the submission.

/ Please submit a high resolution image that is 300 DPI (dots per image). Note – smart phones will provide a 300 DPI image.

/ Artists may apply as many times as they want, however only one image can be submitted per application.

/ Each submitted artwork may include a brief written story or description.

Intake for artwork submissions will remain open. Images will be selected by Indigenous and Non-Indigenous community members in the spirit of the Two Row Wampum.

All artists will be paid for use of their image(s). Selected Artists will be notified by email if their submission has been accepted.
