The most relevant work experience that I have from your customer service posting was being a technical support representative. Been in the position for more than 3 years under web hosting account. Been assisting customers through phone, emails, or chats concerning websites, SEO products, or email software such as Mac Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc.
Working on the web hosting account is very challenging and exciting. Every day you will encounter new issues/concerns. You will learn something new each day. Working in that kind of account needs to be patient, resourcefulness, and active in finding a resolution for the customers' issue. Most of the time higher support (2nd level or supervisor) can't assist you since there are only a few of them versus the agents that they need to cater.
I am still thankful that I experienced working form it. It allows me to unlock my ability to work under pressure, to be more resourceful, to multi-task, and to be more extra patient.
