Roles & Responsibilities
AADO and its Host Partners will collaborate closely to ensure each AADO Connect 2026 event is successful, inclusive, and impactful.
AADO Will:
• Recruit and manage all speakers through our specialized conference software platform (Sessionboard).
• Handle all event registrations and attendee communications.
• Manage national sponsorships and related benefits.
• Coordinate conference materials, shipments, signage, and branded supplies for each location.
• Oversee event program design, marketing, and social media promotion.
Host Partner Will:
• Secure an accessible venue, ideally at no or reduced cost.
• Coordinate catering, audiovisual needs, and on-site logistics (with AADO guidance).
• Recruit and manage local volunteers for registration, hospitality, and day-of support.
• Identify and connect AADO with potential local sponsors, funders, and in-kind supporters.
• Promote the event through the Host Partner's communication channels (email, newsletters, social media).
• Encourage participation, with a goal of 100–125 attendees.
• Recommend local speakers and session topics that reflect the community’s philanthropic landscape.
• Participate in planning calls with the AADO team.
Your organization will be featured in all event promotions, including AADO’s website, social media, email campaigns, press releases, and event signage.
