2023-2024 Newton Cantonese School (NCS) Registration Form

The 2023-2024 NCS school year will be In-Person and Online. Classes will start on September 9, 2023 and run to June 8, 2024. Students can enroll for the Conversation track with the emphasis on speaking or for the Literacy track with emphasis on reading and writing in the traditional form. The classes and activities that are being offered are:

30 Language Classes In-Person: Saturdays 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
$750 - early tuition, payment must be received/postmarked on or before 6/30/2023
$800 - tuition after 6/30/2023

30 Extracurricular Classes In-Person: Saturdays 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM, 11:45AM - 12:45 PM
$100 - (45 minutes) Crochet*, Cultural Activity: Arts and Crafts, Chinese Games, etc.
$100 - (45 minutes) Table Tennis and Jr. Table Tennis
$600 - (60 minutes) Martial Arts/Kung Fu, Chinese Dance*, Art Drawing, etc.

For 2023-2024 school year planning purposes please enroll and pay as soon as possible to reserve your class placement. Once class times are determined for online classes, families will be notified via email and class materials will be mailed out. For in person classes, class materials will be given on the first day of class.

    There is a referral credit given to the NCS referring family of $50 per new family. The maximum referring credit per school year per referring family is $100 and the referring credit will be applied to the following school year. If the current year is the referring family's last year at NCS, a check will be given to the family in the same year. The new family must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 weeks in order for the referring family to receive the referral credit.

    Payment should be made per student (not by family), in order to help facilitate switching of classes and/or refunds in case an extracurricular class is not held due to insufficient enrollment.
