UK Adoption - Healing Paws Animal Rescue

Healing Paws Animal Rescue is a small UK registered charity supporting stray and abandoned animals from the Greek island of Zakynthos.

Some of our dogs, once safely in the UK, are looking for their forever homes. This application form is for dogs ALREADY in the UK :)

These dogs have often come from extremely difficult backgrounds, but are typically well-socialised with other dogs, and often with cats and children unless otherwise stated. As with any rescue dog, they will need time to decompress, along with ongoing training and guidance in their new home.

We carefully match each dog to the right family. Our child policy is assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account experience, lifestyle, and any existing pets.

A home check (usually virtually) is required prior to adoption and will be carried out by one of our experienced volunteers. We ask that applicants have a secure garden with appropriate fencing (generally 6ft, though exceptions may apply depending on the dog).

Adoption Donation (UK Dogs):

Our adoption donation typically contributes towards the dog’s rescue, care, and transport to the UK. HOWEVER, As these dogs are already in the UK, full costs will be discussed with you during the application process (usually around £295)
