    1. Always shows respect to all athletes, parents, staff, and officials
    2. Displays moral and ethical behavior on and off the mat
    3. Has taken steps to improve their knowledge of judo
    4. Has worked to advance the sport of judo
    5. Has created relationships within the judo community to promote the sport
    6. Has officiated at one or more USA Judo national championships in 2025

    *Nominee MUST be a current USA Judo certified referee
