TULSA WELDING END OF SHIFT PROCEDURES
TULSA WELDING CLOSING PROCEDURES
1. When Maintenance indicates they are finished with the back area i.e. the overhead door. Prepare to put up the golf cart. If in doubt, contact Maint. and ask them when they are ready. If they close the overhead door before you put up the golf cart, you can put it in the back of the building; however, by doing so, you won’t be able to charge it.
2. If you can put the cart inside, remember to plug it into the charger. The charger should start buzzing, or you should be able to read the dial that shows it’s charging.
3. If Maint. is still there; they may close the overhead door. If not, you must close it.
4. This is also the time to put up the ASI pickup truck in the back area. Park it in the designated spot and lock it. Take the key fob and close and lock the gate, also make sure the West gate is closed and locked too. When you begin your security check of the bldg, put the key fob in the lock box and scramble the code once you lock the lock. You should pull up front at the Southeast corner with your POV and wait for everyone to leave, including housekeeping. (if they are there). The southeast corner is important because you can see the front door and the dumpsters. (To observe housekeepers as they take out the trash.
5. Housekeeping: In the event that housekeeping is still there, DO NOT LEAVE until the housekeepers are done. Remember Security is the last person to leave the property. There is no reason to talk to housekeepers other than greetings and salutations. When they are finished with their service, they need to be escorted or viewed as they proceed to their vehicle. Don’t just sit in your vehicle and wave at them, You do this by standing outside of your vehicle while they go to their vehicle and depart the property. Let’s make them feel safe.
6. CLOSING PROCEDURES: DO NOT BEGIN UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT ON WEEKDAYS AND 1800 HRS ON WEEKENDS, When everyone has left, the building, lock all of the doors and begin checking for staff, students, or anyone else. Remember to use the codes to enter all locked rooms with combo lock access. Remember to check all rooms, closets, and restrooms. If anyone is still inside, you will have to escort them out and begin your check again. And remember to put the key fob in the lock box.
7. Once all rooms have been checked and everything is secure, Set the alarm and leave the building. You have 60 seconds to exit and lock up. TAKE A PIC OF THE ALARM PANEL SHOWING IT IS SET USING THE TIME STAMP CAMERA APP. ADD THE PICTURE TO THE DOOR CHECKLIST ONCE YOU SUBMIT THAT REPORT.
8. Once everything is locked and the alarm is set. Enter your vehicle and patrol the parking lot ONE LAST TIME FOR OPEN DOORS OR unauthorized activities.
9. Make sure both the Tulsa Northeast gate and the Northwest gate are locked.
10. Close the gate to the flea market and dummy lock if their lock is not open
11. MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT A TULSA DOOR CHECKLIST FROM TXASI.INFO
12. Clock out
