    I worked as a customer service representative at a BPO company for 10 months. The company that I worked with handles US Health insurance. We assist customers with their insurance information such as verifying benefits and eligibility for the members, we also assist them with their claim’s status and concerns and if a certain procedure requires prior authorization.

    Before working in the BPO industry, I was in the hospitality industry for 10 years. I worked as a server and bartender before and eventually got promoted to Restaurant supervisor and assistant operations manager. When I was a supervisor I handled our table reservations, I am also in charge of overseeing day-to-day operations in our restaurant. When I was an assistant manager, I was the one who made the schedule for our staff and did the end-of-shift reports and monthly reports. I also help with organizing private events with the help of our Marketing Team.

    In total, I have 10 years and 10 months of experience working in customer service. I am used to talking to different kinds of customers and I enjoy what I am doing. Customer Service is a critical aspect of one's business. If we treat our customers with respect, be proactive and provide stellar customer service then most likely we will have repeat customers.
