Puppetry Workshop w Justin, Matt, Daniel (16+)
*All classes will be in person at DCPA Robert and Judi Newman Theatre Education building (1101 13th St. 80204)

Here is an opportunity to build and explore a character from scratch, beginning with a simple sock! In this workshop, Puppeteer students will work with incredible theatre artists to explore various types of puppetry and to build a complete character beginning with a simple, neutral sock as their puppet. Choose material to help make your character physically specific, and then begin your journey of finding their voice, energy and personality. At the end of the workshop, you get to take home your own new unique character and friend!

  • Phamaly Guidelines for classes at DCPA - Education

    • Attend all class sessions. Failure to attend all classes you register for will result in suspension from participating in future Phamaly classes.

    • Complete all assignments to the best of your ability.

    • No cell phones allowed during class time unless it is a necessary accommodation

    • No pictures within class time.

    • Participate in all acting exercises and scene work.

    • No food allowed during class. There will be a 10 minute break for any snack needs.

    • Address any issues that arise privately with the instructor, and leave any outside concerns at the door. Be focused and attentive towards the class!
