Students In Action - One Day Event
During the Students In Action field events, students will gain personal in-field experience while increasing their awareness of the Galveston Bay ecosystem and environmental careers. This hands-on work and learning opportunity instills a spirit of stewardship in our next generation of bay users.
COVID Limitations: Programs are limited to 30 students per day. Participants must wear a mask and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Please note if you require multiple days to serve all students.
Most programs run from 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm and include time for a picnic lunch on the Bay.
Programs will vary depending on location, project availability, season, and group size. GBF staff will review your application, and present an option to you based on all factors.
Student Service Program Price Scale:
$200 Base cost (up to 20 students)
$10/Student for additional students (up to 50 students)
For example, a group of 25 will cost $250 ($200 base plus $50 for 5 additional students)
*We frequently have grant funding for partial scholarships for qualifying schools. If interested, please fill out the appropriate section below.
*
I understand the pricing scale, and that payment is due 3 days prior to scheduled program.
