Road 424 Flea in the Field Vendor Application
The fall date for Flea in the Field is Saturday October 12, 2013. Gate opens to the public at 9:00 a.m. Vendors may begin setting up at 7:00 a.m. A limited number of 15' by 15' reserved spaces are available either in the yard of the farmhouse or under the covered pavilion. Unreserved spaces (10' by 10') are available in the field and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis on the morning of the Flea. All spaces must be paid in full by October 9th. Farmers and growers are always welcome to set up a 10' by 10' sized booth in the field for free, but still need to submit an application.

You may sell as a business or as an individual with garage sale type items. If you'll be re-selling items or selling something that you made, you'll need to register as a business and provide your tax number. If you'll be selling garage sale type items, you do not need to provide a tax number. The State Comptroller may visit our venue to check for tax permits. If you're unsure whether you are required to have a permit or not, please contact the State Comptroller to find out. If they canvass our location and discover that you are selling without a permit, then you may be fined or asked to close up your booth. Or worse!

You can go to the Road 424 website ( to pay for your booth space. Click on the Vendor Payments tab near the top of the page. If you do not pay within a week or so of submitting your application, then an invoice will be sent to the email address you provide.

Experience with shows or fairs is not necessary. Come out and enjoy a fun atmosphere in a country setting. Reserved space vendors will receive some great perks, like bottled water, snacks, and more.

FREE admission and parking!

  • If you will be selling as a business, you must have a sales tax number on file with Road 424 before you can set up. You are required to collect Texas sales or use tax on all sales that are not exempt. You can apply for a sales tax permit online for free and receive your number immediately. If you are a grower/farmer, or are not required to collect sales tax, please put "EXEMPT" in this box. If you are from out of state, you are still required to collect Texas use tax, which is at the same rate as sales tax. The tax rate here is 6.25% (we're not in the city limits), so you may need to update the sales tax rate on your credit card readers.
