2021 Crew Registration Form
THIS FORM MUST ONLY BE COMPLETED ONCE BY THE RELEVANT TEAM CAPTAIN IN RESPECT OF THEIR ENTIRE CREW.

Boat park spaces will be allocated to specific crews for the 2021 season on receipt of the racking fee. It is the responsibility of crews to look after and maintain their allocated space within the boat park. It is also the responsibility of crews to take reasonable measures to avoid obstructing spaces allocated to other crews.

Spaces will be allocated to racing crews on a first come first served basis with any remaining spaces allocated to secondary (i.e. training vessels), once the season has commenced. Quads will be given priority on tarmac spaces.

Spaces cost £50 per rowing seat i.e. Singles £50, Doubles £100 and Quads £200.

This form must be submitted by 01-April-2021 after which boat park allocations will be issued. No boats are to be placed in the boat park without an allocated space.

The committee reserves the right to evict boats if crews do not appropriately maintain their allocated space.

All vessels must be removed from the boat park by the first day of October 2021, or such other date as notified by the Club as the end of the racing season. Failure to move vessels will result in an additional charge for the boat park (see below) and the vessel being uninsured.

Boat park spaces will be made available for rental over the winter period. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis on completion of the Winter Storage form.

  • CREW MEMBERS

    Please register your principle crew members for the forthcoming season. Do not include substitute rowers/coxes. This registered crew (including the cox) may not change by more than 50% in any race during the season. Should they do so, they will be regarded as a new crew.
  • GUARD BOAT DETAILS

    Please provide details of your nominated guard boat for the forthcoming season. They will be contacted by the Race Secretary and may be asked to provide cover for GRC races.

  • TEAM CAPTAIN DECLARATION

    I have read and understood the Guernsey Rowing Club ("GRC") rules. I agree that my crew will adhere to these rules and to any decisions and instructions made by the organisers and scrutineers in the general operation and conduct of GRC races. I also agree to ensure that all competing rowers in the crew are Racing Members or Day Members of the GRC as appropriate and understand that the GRC Committee may take action as it sees appropriate if this is found not to be the case.
