New Sports Club or Society Application Form
This form should be filled out to start a new Club or Society at the Union of Brunel Students. Once your application has been completed, it will be discussed by The Societies Guild Committee or The Sports Federation Committee who meet every two weeks during term.

  • Your Club or Society

  • e.g. Badminton Club, Disney Society
  • Sports Club Examples: Rugby, Swimming, Sailing, Hockey, Rowing, Dance Club.

    Society Examples: Nigerian Society, Tech Society, Marrow Society, Islamic Society.
  • E.g. Organisations, Churches, Charities, Non-Students.
  • E.g. Sport, Competitions, Campaigning, Space, Activities, Raising Awareness, Fundraising etc.
  • Your Committee

  • The minimum required roles for a committee are Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

    Risk does not mean that an Activity can not take place, it just means that more measures have to be put in place to ensure that the risk is managed effectively to avoid unnecessary harm or reputational damange.
  • E.g. website links to chosen charities, evidence of other Students' Unions with similar clubs/societies, evidence that you are experienced in the activity of your sport/society.
  • “We, the undersigned, petition the Union of Brunel Students to form this Society"

    The sections below are to show what interest there is in your Club or Society. The Union does not have the resources to support Societies with less than 10 members. Check out our Constitution and Bye-Laws for more details here: https://brunelstudents.com/about/documentstore/

    The first section is mandotory, the second section is for any additional names that support the introduction of your Club/ Society.
