Oktoberfest Reston - Individual Volunteer Form
Volunteering at Oktberfest is a great way to welcome the Fall with thousands of your closest friends and neighbors. All volunteers will receive 12 tickets (18 if you volunteer on Sunday!) and an Oktoberfest T-shirt. I will be at least 21 by 10/11/13
(Must be at least 21 years of age by the date of your shift to volunteer at Oktoberfest.)
Set-up - Event preparation including hanging signs and prepping booths.
Beer/Wine Service - Operation of the beer and wine tents.
ID Check - Providing wristbands to all patrons wishing to purchase alcohol.
Beverage Cart - deliver ice and soft drinks to designated locations by golf cart. This position requires repetitive lifting and climbing.
Floater - Fill-in wherever there is need. Must be willing to work any position.
Break Down - Work with Chamber staff to close the event.

Sun, Oct 13th, 6pm break down
Volunteers who work the the last event shift on each day will be given access to the exclusive volunteer reception in the VIP tent after their shift. The reception will be sponsored and catered by Whole Foods Market - Reston.

By typing my name below, I agree to abide by all of the guidelines governing the Oktoberfest Reston 2013 as indicated below. I understand that the event will occur rain or shine. I also understand that there are risks of illness, injury and property damage inherent in any activity and, in consideration of being invited to participate in this event, I hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and its principals, agents, members, beneficiaries, officers, partners, directors, employees, assigns and those others with which the Chamber contracts for this event from and against any and all such claims arising in connection with my participation in this event. I understand that all volunteers are critical to the success of this event and I intend to be fully responsible, to be on time and stay for my entire shift. If I am unable to volunteer, I will notify the GRCC of the replacement I secure. Individuals may be placed on company volunteer teams as needed.
