A publishing company is looking for medical students, graduate students in biomedical sciences and residents/fellows interested in volunteering to write chapters on basic and clinical sciences for a new medical textbook. Students and residents/fellows whose chapters are successfully accepted for publication will be listed as authors/co-authors of a peer-reviewed chapter.

Eligibility: Medical students in Allopathic and Osteopathic schools in the US. 1st and 2nd year students are eligible to write chapters on the basic sciences only. Upperclassmen and residents/fellows have the option to choose between basic science or clinical science sections. Residents, fellows, faculty, and Masters/PhD/PharmD students are also eligible. Foreign medical students are eligible but should contact the e-mail address for more information before applying.

Students are encouraged to apply ASAP because applications will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Please upload an updated resume to the application. Once the form has been completed and submitted, a section editor will contact the student/resident/fellow. Each chapter will be reviewed by multiple faculty. Authors should expect multiple revisions before successful completion.
