Terms & Information (Please read.)
⏺ GOING PRIVATE. If you are coming from the Rover app and you'd prefer to book privately through our website (LarryandBrooks.com), please indicate this in the Additional Information field below.
⏺ CONTACT. Jen's cell number is 574-538-7979. The Rover App uses Rover numbers.
⏺ UPDATES. I will update you twice a day with photos and info. If you'd like less updating, please let me know.
⏺ POTTY BREAKS. We have a doggie door as well as a magnetic door curtain to allow for dogs to go in and out freely. If there are any concerns about this, please let me know.
⏺ CRATES. If your dog gets crated, you can bring your crate if you’d like, but it’s unnecessary. I have all sizes of dog crates and several puppy play yards.
⏺ WATER. I have a community water bowl that's always filled with clean, filtered water from the fridge. ? Do not bring a water bowl.
⏺ FOOD. ✅ Please bring everything your dog needs to eat, including food and any additives. You can bring a food dish if you prefer, but I have lots of extra food dishes.
⏺ TREATS/BONES. I make my own homemade treats with 100% Peanut Peanut Butter, ground oatmeal, and ripe bananas. I also have Yak Cheese Bones and Butcher Bones for chewing. ? Do not bring treats or bones unless they are for sharing.
⏺ TOYS. I have a large variety of sturdy BARK toys for play. ? Do not bring your own toys. They will likely get lost or destroyed.
⏺ FENCING. Our fencing is 4-5 feet high. Once your dog enters our front door, they cannot escape.
⏺ FURNITURE. We allow dogs on the furniture. If you do not want your dog on furniture, please let us know.
⏺ SHARING. Before your stay, I will do my best to provide you with information on other dogs that will be boarded with your dog.
⏺ TICKS. We do not see a lot of ticks, but our property is partly wooded. Preventative flea and tick medication is recommended.
⏺ VACCINES. I feel that vaccinating is a personal choice and therefore, I do not require proof of vaccination. Bringing a non-vaccinated dog into a boarding situation is at your risk. We've never had a problem.
⏺ PROBLEM DOGS. If a dog in our care becomes a problem for a person or another dog, our plan is to tether the problem dog until the situation resolves itself. If a dog becomes a danger to a person or another dog, our plan is to crate the dog and inform the parent. This rarely happens.
