Work Experience - Cumulative Record Spring 2022
WE student keeps track of his/her hours to meet the minimum Work Experience requirement based on unit load. The Cumulative Work Record is completed, approved, and signed off by both the student and Site Supervisor at the end of the semester using this online form.

COVID-19 ADJUSTMENTS: In response to the current pandemic and impacted closures, both in-person or remote work will be accepted for Work Experience. In addition, the WE faculty orientation and site visits, which typically occur in-person, may take place virtually, most likely via Zoom. For more detailed information, please visit the SDCCD Work Experience website. Students completing in-person placements are highly encouraged to follow all health and safety protocols outlined by the CDC, Public Health Officials, and employment site.

    Directions:
    1. For each day worked by week, indicate the total hours worked in increments of a quarter hour. Round minutes to the nearest quarter hour (ie: 4 hours and 10 minutes worked = 4.25 hours). Do not report your shift beginning and ending time, only the total hours worked.
    2. Enter "0" for each day you did NOT work.
    4. Your Supervisor will sign off on your work record below to verify your hours.
    5. This form and your work hours will be reviewed by your Work Experience Instructor at the second site visit.

    *Note: Complete recording your hours prior to the second site visit. Please ESTIMATE your work hours for the last few weeks of the term.*

  • Work Experience credit is awarded based on 75 hours of paid work/internship or 60 hours of unpaid internship per unit the student is enrolled. By completing the WE Application and enrolling in WORK 270, you have acknowledged and agreed to fulfill all requirements and expectations of the Work Experience class as outlined by Title 5 and the Work Experience Student Handbook (Page 13) including minimum hours required per semester by unit. Failure to meet these requirements, specifically the minimum # of hours, may result in a failing grade assigned for your Work Experience course.

    WE Hours Must Be Completed Within Course Dates:

    1 unit - 60 Hours Unpaid | 75 Hours Paid

    2 units - 120 Hours Unpaid | 150 Hours Paid

    3 units - 180 Hours Unpaid | 225 Hours Paid

    4 units - 240 Hours Unpaid | 300 Hours Paid
