Additional Notes
The tour departs from the Dublin Airport, around 9:15 am on July 16.
Due to flights arriving at various times, passengers arriving early may have an extended wait at the airport until all flights arrive.
PRE-TOUR - A great option is to arrive one day early to relax and enjoy Dublin.
Consider booking a pre-tour day/night to avoid a long wait at the airport or to avoid missing the group tour start.

ITINERARY

July 16 - Sunday, Day 01 is the start date in the Ireland.
Note: with overnight flights, a Saturday flight departing the US would be needed, to meet group on Day 01, Sunday at Dublin Airport.
A 9:15 am group transfer is provided from Dublin Airport on arrival.
Should your flight arrive after 9:15, we suggest booking a pre-night, so that you can meet the group as needed on Sunday.
July 16 - Day 01, Sunday: Arrive Dublin, Ireland - Galway
Morning arrival at Dublin Airport.
Depart Dublin and travel the short journey to Galway, where we check into our hotel.
Free time to rest.
In the afternoon, we enjoy a local panoramic sightseeing tour of Galway City.
(D) Dinner and overnight in Galway. (Imperial Hotel or like.)
July 17 - Day 02, Monday: Galway- Connemara - Galway
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day at the hotel.
Today we enjoy a scenic tour of Connemara.
Travel along Galway Bay to Maam Cross and Clifden.
Continue on via Kylemore Abbey and stop briefly for a photo opportunity.
We continue via scenic countryside; keep an eye out for sheep en route to Moycullen.
We stop to visit the Connemara Marble Factory and the Celtic Crystal Factory.
Return to Galway.
Our evening is free to enjoy Galway, with dinner on your own. Overnight in Galway. (Imperial Hotel or like.)
July 18 - Day 03, Tuesday: Galway - Cliffs of Moher - Killarney
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day at the hotel and have your bags ready for the next destination.
Morning departure from Galway.
We make our way to the awe inspiring and majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean.
A spectacular day with great sea and cliff views, our next stop is Killarney.
(D) Dinner and overnight in Killarney. (Killarney Towers Hotel or like.)
July 19 - Day 04, Wednesday: Killarney - Dingle Peninsula
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day at the hotel.
A delightful day takes us along the Kerry coast to the Dingle Peninsula, which offers magnificent coastal scenery.
Beyond Slea Head, we see the Blasket Islands, the last outpost of Europe.
A full day tour returning to Killarney.
(D) Dinner and overnight in Killarney. (Killarney Towers Hotel or like.)
July 20 - Day 05, Thursday: Killarney - Cashel - Dublin
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day at the hotel and have your bags ready for the next destination.
Leaving Killarney, we travel over the mountains to Blarney, where we pause for a visit to Blarney Woollen Mills.
Here you have time to enjoy an optional visit to Blarney Castle, and perhaps kiss the famed Blarney Stone.
Leaving Blarney, we travel via Tipperary and Cashel, where we pause for a photo-op at the historic Rock of Cashel.
Arrive in Dublin, where the evening is free to dine on your own tonight.
Overnight at our castle hotel tonight in Killiney, Co. Dublin.
Our castle hotel is situated at the brow of Killiney Hill, in the prestigious south Dublin suburb of Killiney (keep an eye out for Bono of U2) and overlooking Dublin Bay. (Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel)
July 21 - Day 06, Friday: Dublin
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day at the hotel.
Coming into the capital city this morning for sightseeing.
We visit the Guinness Storehouse, enjoying panoramic views of the city from the Gravity Bar, followed by the EPIC Museum.
Some free time then to enjoy the capital city independently.
Dublin has plenty of shops, cafes, museums, and more for you to enjoy.
Now is time to enjoy a farewell dinner at our castle hotel.

July 22 - Day 07,
Saturday: Dublin - U.S.
(B) Enjoy an Irish start to your day before traveling back to the U.S.
Early morning transfer to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. Flights to the U.S. arrive home the same day.
POST-TOUR - You can extend your stay to continue to visit Ireland (or anywhere else!).
Just let us know and we can help you finish with your personal itinerary.

When a single room is booked, a single supplement ($475) will apply.
There is no reduction on price for triple rooms on this tour.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is MANDATORY for participation on this tour.

Cancellation – Land Penalty: Written cancellation notice is required for all cancellations and if received by Traveling Person & Celtic Tours more than 125 to 96 days prior to departing,
a processing fee of the LAND PORTION of $200 per person will apply, plus any non-refundable fees for land portion of tours.
From 95 to 66 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of $350 per person will apply, plus any non-refundable fees.
From 65 to 46 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of 50% of the tour cost will apply.
Within 45 days of departure date 100% cancellation fee applies.
Single room supplement withheld when a shared room is converted to single room due to a cancellation.
Travel insurance must be purchased with initial reservation/deposit in order to cover pre existing conditions.
Due to Covid-19’s effect on the current worldwide financial markets, exchange rates are currently fluctuating much more rapidly than normal.
This does have an affect on international travel.
At 125 days prior to your departure the exchange rates will be reviewed and guaranteed.
Any applicable rate changes (higher or lower) will be advised for final payment in 30 days.
Rates will only change if exchange rates vary by more than 3% in either direction of the quoted rate.
Celtic Tours will do everything within its power to keep rates consistent with quoted rates, but there are times it may be beyond our control.
