Are you passionate about empowering young people and preserving outdoor spaces for future generations? Girlguiding Ayrshire North is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Volunteer Committee Chair to lead our activity centre management committee and help shape the future of our beloved campsite.

As Committee Chair, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—bringing together volunteers, guiding strategic decisions, and ensuring the site remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for Girlguiding members and community groups.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and facilitate committee meetings, ensuring inclusive and effective decision-making
    • Oversee the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the campsite
    • Support fundraising, grant applications, and community engagement initiatives
    • Liaise with Girlguiding leaders, volunteers, and external stakeholders
    • Champion site improvements, environmental stewardship, and accessibility
    • Ensure compliance with Girlguiding policies and health & safety standards
