  • Audition and Fee Requirements:

    Audition Fee is $35, prior to August 31, $50 on or after September 1st, 2017.

    Prior to your audition, your application must be completed and your audition fee paid. Your membership fee of $475 is due and payable upon acceptance into the LYO unless you are applying for a scholarship. A late fee of $50 will be added to your membership costs if not paid in full by (Sunday, October 1, 2017). (Scholarship applicants are exempt until awards are determined.)
  • Scholarship Aid Request:

    If you wish to apply for scholarship aid, you must complete and submit a scholarship application to the Louisville Youth Orchestra office by September 24, 2017. Limited scholarship funds are available for membership fees and private music instruction.
  • Statement of Consent:

    It is very important that you support your child's membership in the LYO. We sincerely hope you will ensure that your child attends all rehearsals. We ask that you encourage your friends and relatives to attend orchestra concerts in order that the musicians of the LYO have large and enthusiastic audiences.
