How to Register (Registration for 2025-2026 is currently closed)

Families will first register their girl(s) with AHG for the 2025-2026 Program Year. At that point, families will be able to register for AHG Pen Pal by selecting the "Register & Pay Now" button in the Pen Pal box on their girl’s AHGfamily profile. Registration to become an AHG Pen Pal will remain open June 1 through September 30, 2025, 11:59pm EST. Those who registered will find the contact information for their girl's match in the Pen Pal box on her AHGfamily profile in early October.

Patches

Participating Troops order their AHG Pen Pal Patches from the AHGstore. Troops are encouraged to add these patches to an End-of-Year Award Ceremony order.

Misc.

If your girl's pen pal is not responding, please email the pen pal’s parent/legal guardian to understand why she is not writing. There may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent a girl from writing. Parents/Legal guardians are ultimately responsible for ensuring that their girls fulfill their commitment. Encourage your girl to keep writing and praying for her pen pal. AHG is unable to provide another pen pal match if the originally assigned pen pal is unresponsive.
