Please be aware that our fees for adoption range from $300 to $475. These fees help to defray the cost of spay/neuter, vaccines, fecal testing, preventatives and other medical needs. You must be at least 21 years of age to submit an adoption application and must reside in the NJ/PA area. We strongly encourage you to read the entire application before you begin answering questions.

The adoption process is a multi-step process that includes vet and personal reference checks, home visits, and a willingness to work together to find a dog that is a great fit for you and your family. Our goal is not to put any dog in any home, but rather to put the best dog for YOU in your home.

Adopting A dog is one of the best experiences. With this said, sometimes we forget that a dog requires balance, training, and structure. It could be 4 years down the road before behavioral issues surface. It's so important that training starts as soon as you bring your newly adopted dog home. It's A Ruff Life Rescue partners with Lead The Way Training (LTW) to provide foster pups with a basic training foundation. The pup you are adopting will have a basic understanding of commands, such as sit, touch, and watch me. All training is done through positive reinforcement techniques.
