Thank you for your interest in serving as an IASA Xchange Peer Reviewer. IASA constantly needs Peer Reviewers to support the review of potential educational content for our IASA Xchange annual conferences.
The content review process is short and requires only a computer with an internet connection and content knowledge in one of the following categories: Accounting & Finance (A&F), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Professional Development (PD), Information Technology (TECH) and Executive Education.
The estimated time commitment is typically 5-10 minutes per proposal review and occurs in early September each year.
Content is graded on:
• Well defined proposal objectives
• Relevancy of content to the industry
• Content applicability to a broad audience
• Overall quality of submission content
• Speaker information
Applications are accepted August 10-21. Grading takes place 9/4-18.
Expectations in preparation for your reviews:
• Give your time. Commit a few hours during the weeks of September 7 and 14 to read and review submissions.
• Be prepared. Familiarize yourself with submissions and pre-read assigned proposals.
• Be fair. Anonymously rate proposals based on given criteria. Agree to abstain from reviewing proposals by presenters you have connections to. Reviewers who have submitted proposals will not have access to review their own submissions.
• Be constructive. Provide open-ended constructive feedback as appropriate.
