  • Reference's Contact Information

    In order for us to verify the information you have provided, we'll need the details of a person who is unrelated to the nominee and is willing to act as a reference. The reference should be a different person than the nominator.

    The reference should have credible knowledge of the nominee's background and accomplishments.

    References will only be contacted if the nominee has been shortlisted.

  • The nominee should live within the City of Toronto and have a postal code beginning with "M".

    The City of Toronto includes North York, Scarborough, and Etobicoke.

    Unfortunately, we are not able to accept nominations for volunteers who live in neighbouring cities such as Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill or Pickering, even if they volunteer in Toronto.
