The Walk Across Hamblen is eager to motivate people of all ages to make that important first step toward improved health.
This program is simple, inexpensive and safe.
All you need is a team of 2-10 people and a desire to get started.

Teams can walk together or individually; teams will accumulate miles each week to work towards walking in symbolic form across Hamblen County and then across Tennessee. So put on your walking shoes and prepare to join us in this six week journey to change our community.

Captain Responsibilities:
· Register your team using this form to provide access for your individual team members to enroll.
· Recruit team members – teams must have a minimum of 2, but not more than 10 members (team captain is included in the 10 members).
· Complete this Team Registration Form and pay the $20 team registration fee. Your $20 payment will enroll your team and cover your individual registration as the first member of your team. You will also receive your Walk Across Hamblen tee shirt, so please provide a Tee Shirt size on the form as well.
· Team members who complete their registration will also receive a tee shirt as part of their enrollment to your team. Registration will stay open until the March 18th kick-off, but t-shirts may not be available after the March 1st cut-off date.
· As Team Captain, you will be responsible for collecting & submitting weekly mileage from each team member. You will do this through the report form that will be emailed to you in the weekly Monday reminder from Kellie Smith.
· Team Captains will motivate team members to walk either individually or in groups.
· Make sure all members know the site of each Monday Mile and time of walk. A Monday Mile location schedule will be emailed to you with each Monday reminder.
· Team Winners will be announced at end of the 6 week program.
· Most of all GET OUT and MOVE and have FUN!
