Oktoberfest Reston '15 - Company Volunteer
Sign up a team to volunteer at Oktoberfest Reston (October 10-11)! Participating in Oktoberfest is a great way to increase your company's presence in the community, team build, and it's a lot of fun! As a corporate volunteer team, your company will be featured on our Oktoberfest website. In addition, each member of your team will receive an Oktoberfest Volunteer T-shirt and 12 food/drink tickets. Each member of my team will be at least 21 years of age by 10/10/15
Volunteer Positions:
Set-up - Event preparation including hanging signs and prepping booths.
Beer/Wine Service - Operation of the beer and wine tents.
ID Check - Checking ages of all patrons and providing wristbands to all those wishing to purchase alcohol.
Beverage Cart - deliver ice and soft drinks to designated locations by golf cart. This position requires repetitive lifting and climbing.
Floater - Fill-in wherever there is need. Must be willing to work any position.
Break Down - Work with Chamber staff to close the event.
Greeter-Will greet guests at select entrances to give directions, answer questions and pass out maps.
Reston Pumpkin 5K Packet pick up- Assist runners with picking up their race t-shirts and bib numbers for Sunday race.

*Please note your team's t-shirt sizes are due by Wednesday, September 23rd. If we do not receive the sizes by then, we cannot promise a t-shirt to each volunteer.

We will make every effort to keep your company team together. However, your flexibility is appreciated as we staff each beer, wine and ID tent. PLEASE NOTE: A corporate team MUST have 4 or more volunteers to qualify for marketing benefits. Otherwise, please sign-up as individuals.
A company rep must attend a mandatory Beer and Wine service training at the Reston Chamber at 1886 Metro Center Drive, Suite 230, Reston, VA 20190. (does not apply to those doing set up and/or breakdown) Please select which training you will attend:
