WHAT DOES A BACKSTAGE VOLUNTEER DO? Backstage volunteers are deeply involved in the production and support our actors and technicians with the running of the show. There are a variety of positions and needs depending on the show including assisting with accessibility needs, wardrobe and dressing room assistance, set moving, and more! Theatre experience is appreciated but not necessary.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The deadline to sign up as a backstage volunteer is March 10. 2023. Volunteers must be 18+. All volunteers are required to complete a background check, a volunteer questionnaire, and agree to Phamaly's COVID-19 policies (masks are required inside the building). Backstage volunteers are required to attend all tech and dress rehearsals. Ideally, backstage volunteers would be available for 4 or more show dates from March 23, 2023 to April 8, 2023 (12 total performances + 4 required rehearsals). All scheduling is negotiable and on-call positions are available with communication. Please email volunteer@phamaly.org with any questions.
