Dane Arts, the County's Cultural Affairs Office, invites you to apply to DABL 2018! We are excited to announce that we are expanding our event to two days! Plus, DABL Artists will be featured in the Yahara Bay gallery space throughout October. We are also announcing our new Pledge to Purchase initiative working with businesses to pledge to purchase or commission at DABL.

Dane Arts Buy Local (DABL) is a program within Dane Arts that connects local artists and businesses through a series of pop-up art markets. By combining unique vending opportunities with professional development workshops, DABL directly supports the work of Dane County artists in recognition of their impact on the local economy.

Nearly $100,000 has been generated by artists to-date.

BOOTH SIZES:

There are a total of 31 booth spaces for this years event. There are many outlets to power booth lighting. Artists will provide all displays, tables, extension cords power strips and chairs for their space.

11 booths at 7' x 6'
3 booths at 4' x 10'
17 booths at 8" x 5'

APPLICATION FEE:

There is a $25 non-refundable application fee to apply for this event. You will be required to pay via Paypal (you can use a credit or debit card) to complete your application submission. All application fees will be processed through Yahara Bay Distiallary. These fees will cover the cost of renting the space.

If you are accepted into the show, vendors will also be required to pay Dane Arts 30% of their total sales for the duration of the DABL Market and gallery exhibit. Artists will be asked to track sales during the event. A form will be provided at the event and will assist in tracking our Pledge to Purchas initiative. All funds received for this event will be recirculated back into future DABL events and activities.

OTHER BENEFITS:

All DABL applicants will have their art submitted to the pool of candidates for the 2019 Dane Arts Poster and Calendar competition and be invited to attend the Flourish! workshops free-of-charge, regardless of being accepted to DABL 2018.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS & REMINDERS:

Artists must reside in Dane County to submit.

There is a 10MB total file size limit for images submitted with this application.

DABL events are full of art, music, gourmet appetizers, business leaders and serious shoppers from throughout Dane County. Thank you for contributing to our creative economy!
