Bench dedication terms are in ten‐year increments. Additional ten‐year bench terms are $1,500 per ten‐year term and may be added anytime.
The Bench style will be determined by the guidelines for each park.
All donated/dedicated benches are the property and responsibility of the City of Saint Paul and will be maintained at the same level as all other Saint Paul park elements. The City of Saint Paul retains the right to make all final decisions on location and renovation/relocation of existing benches.
Your dedication plaque remains in place for the duration of the dedication. The Conservancy will replace the plaque one time as needed during the duration of the dedication. Thereafter the donor is responsible for plaque replacement due to damage or theft.
Parks are a place of enjoyment for everyone and have different purposes than a cemetery. We look forward to you visiting your dedicated spot, but please do not leave personal items such as artificial flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, candles, etc. Any personal items left at the site may be removed by Parks and Recreation staff.
Adding or removing any plant material in parks is not allowed without the City’s permission.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information current with the Conservancy during the life of your dedication. *
