Northwood Village's ArtNight Out ART & CRAFT VENDOR APPLICATION

Approved Art and Craft Vendors are welcome on the last Friday night monthly from 6pm - 9pm in Northwood Village, located one mile north of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. on Northwood Road, 24th , and 25th Streets between N. Dixie Hwy and Broadway.

Northwood Village ARTNight Out will be every Last Friday of each month will be extra special with live music in the Village.

All vendors must be approved by the Northwood Merchant Committee. The artwork must be originally created and produced product of the displaying vendor. Items such as Mary Kay, Avon, multi-level businesses or diet products are NOT permitted or Buy/sell resale vendors are STRICTLY prohibited.
No Soap or Beauty products will be considered to be a vendor.
Applicants must submit a minimum of three photos of work or products they intend to exhibit. Digital photos, as well as this application, are accepted online. Applications deadline is the 5th of month and we will notify the artist / crafter by the 15th of the month if they have been accepted. Any applications received after the 5th will be considered for the following month.
After approval you will receive an official vendor booth sign that will need to be visible at your booth each time you set up. Vendors are limited to approximately 10’ of street/sidewalk space to display their work. All vendors must provide their own means to display their products such as tables, tablecloth, chairs, and lighting. Limited area available for tents. Setup material have to be sturdy enough to withstand crowds, winds, and other weather conditions.

All vendors will need to check in at the information area on the corner of Spruce and Northwood Rd. to receive their assigned location as we will assign the locations to space out similar vendors.

Set-up locations will be in front of empty stores and lots. Spaces will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.

Electricity is available, although exhibitors must supply their own extension cords, which need to be covered and taped down.

All Vendor booth set up locations will be on sidewalks. The streets will not be closed off for traffic unless there is a major event planned and funding is in place to close the street. If you are a tented vendor you tent will need to be set up over the side walk with a pathway in the middle for shopper to walk thru.

All Vendors are required to be registered and approved to set up in Northwood Village.

No sales, use, or possession of alcoholic beverages is permitted. Exhibitors are responsible for collecting their own sales tax.

This event is currently FREE until October 2016 approved vendors. (subject to change with advance notice). As of October 1, 2016 we will charge a small $10 each night or $100 for the year (savings of $20). This fee is for all approved vendors to set up. The fee will be used to fund the event and expand the happening of the event. Existing vendors will receive an email for payments and new applying vendors after approval will require prepaying before the event in order to set up. Vendors will be able to pick the dates they wish to attend and prepay online. The Fees are non-refundable. Note the Art Night Out event is a rain or shine event. If an event night is canceled for extreme weather your fee for that night will be applied to an additional night.

In order to attract as many visitors as we can we encourage all vendors to invite their followers and let them know that you will be set up in charming Northwood Village. A media kit link for your use will be emailed to you so you can share on your websites, newsletters and social media. The more everyone shares the more business you and others may get. Research shows that word of mouth is the best form of advertisement so talk about it and spread the word!

We do encourage you to set up every month to keep a consistency in the Art Night Out event.

By filling in this form you are verifying that all provided information is true and you agree to all the terms of being an Arts and Craft Vendor in Northwood Village.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I understand the rules of Northwood Village ARTNight Out as stated above and I agree to comply with them. In consideration for my participation in the Northwood Village ARTNight Out, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, indemnify, hold harmless and release the City of West Palm Beach and the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and their respective employees, agents, volunteers, Northwood Merchant’s Association and the sponsors of this event from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in the waiver. I grant permission to all the foregoing entities and persons to use any photography, motion picture, recording or any
other records of me in this event for legitimate purposes. I understand that all or part of the event can be canceled due to extreme weather.
