Why should I join? What are the program benefits?
(1) complete a program of STEM-focused study with a Teacher Ed cohort of students in your first year at Mesa;
(2) receive academic counseling related to your major;
(3) receive guidance through the process of becoming a STEM Teacher;
(4) receive mentoring support on how to be a STEM teacher

How does the program support your success?
STEM Teacher Ed orientation (TBA) will help you become knowledgeable about the STEM Teacher Ed Program and familiar with campus resources;
Math and Personal Growth courses (1st year) will help you complete a required math sequence of courses and learn success strategies that enhance your academic and lifelong learning skills.

What does a sample academic schedule look like if I join the STEM Teacher Education Program?

Required Courses:
● Fall 2020: EDUC211 (Field Experience: Math/Science)
● Spring 2021: CHIL101 (Human Growth and Development)
