Colorado Timeline for School-to-School Requests
Under Colorado student records transfer law, when a school directly requests records for enrollment purposes, the sending school is expected to transfer student records within 14 days. To help ensure the fastest possible processing, we encourage families to share our school’s information with the next school so they can submit a request directly.

Parent/Guardian Requests
Requests made by parents/guardians or eligible students are processed in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and may take up to 45 days to complete, depending on the scope of the request and verification of authorization.

While FERPA does not require schools to automatically provide copies of records, we are happy to do so in our online setting to support access. We appreciate your understanding as we work within these timelines to ensure records are accurate and securely shared. When applicable, school-to-school requests will be prioritized and fulfilled first to best support student enrollment timelines.
