  • Volunteer Descriptions

    Check In/Registration - Check in registrants for bike or trolley tours, direct people to correct starting location, hand out wrist bands, loading trolleys, organizing bikes, welcoming visitors, help direct to parking.

    Trolley Guides - This is a ride-along guide to go with the trolleys. Most of the content for the tour is provided at the sites, however guides will have a script that has basic information to narrarate along the way. Guides will be responsible for keeping the tour on schedule. Trolley guide training will be held on October 10th.

    Site Greeters - These greeters will direct the bikers and the trolleys to the right parking area - and to move guests into the sites.

    Bike Lead and Sweep (morning only)
    This year, there will be 2 morning rides only … leaving at 9am & 10am. Each tour lasts approximately 3 hours. We only need 4 hours of your time.

    We need riders & sweeps to help us lead the bike riders to the following sites:
    Ft. Howell
    Mitchelville
    Ft. Walker
    Steam Gun
    Zion Cemetery
