ISRI Pilot Talent Acquisition & Retention Program
The Institute for Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) will launch the ISRI Educate, Employ, Empower, (E3) Talent Acquisition and Retention Program pilot program in June of 2022 to begin building a pool of potential employees for ISRI members.
ISRI has applied for a national registered apprenticeship program and is developing a six weeks apprenticeship program for students enrolled in a participating trade school, technical school or community college starting June 6, 2022. ISRI has also received commitments from several HBCUs to identify students for internships and fellowships.
By offering these opportunities, ISRI members will have access to a talent pipeline for entry-level job openings at both the professional and skilled levels, minimizing recruitment resource needs in an ever-growing competitive employment market.
