LSWO Latinx Chicago Conference 2024 will take at the University of Illinois-Chicago, 750 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60601. Please complete this online form. We expect this conference will be sold out prior to the conference.

The conference will take place on October 3-5, 2024.

Current Plenary Sessions will include, so far:

Dr. Vincent Guilamo-Ramos is the Executive Director of the Institute for Policy Solutions at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Director of the Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health.

Also

Yvonne Castaneda, LCSW, Yoga Teacher and a Reiki Master and Director, Community-Based Initiatives at Boston College School of Social Work. She is the author of: Pork Belly Tacos with a Side of Anxiety: My Journey Through Depression, Bulimia, and Addiction

This in-person conference offers Keynotes, Panels, Workshops, and Student Poster sessions. Exhibitors will be from nonprofit organizations, public sector agencies, group practice, and Schools of Social Work.

The fees are the following:

Full Conference Professional (10/3 - 10/5): $180.00
Full Conference Student (10/3 to 10/5): $160.00

The LSWO will take the information from this online form, and create an invoice for you. This online PayPal invoice will be emailed to your email address.

If you are planning on attending with 3 staff or more, then you can receive a group discount. Please email adrian@lswo.org.

If your employer is going to pay your fee, please include the name, job title, email and phone in the note section.

Refund policy:
Full Refunds will be given til 9/1/2024. 50 Percent Refunds will be give until 9/15/2024. No refunds on or after 9/16/2024.

Last, but not least, many public/nonprofit/group practices and religious organizations maybe seeking bilingual staff. Please inform them of this opportunity to have an exhibitor booth. Exhibitor tables are $500.00 for 2 days. (No one day exhibitors)
