  • F00D/BEVERAGE VENDOR CONDITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    The following are the terms and conditions under which food vendors may provide food service at the Art in the Park St. Louis Hills event produced by Friends of Francis Park.

    1. General Conditions

    a. The Art in the Park St. Louis Hills (AitPSLH) event shall be On September 27th, 2026 during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    b. Food vendor setup will take place on Sunday morning, only between 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on September 27th, 2026.

    c. All cars/trucks/vans are to be moved from the assigned site by 9:00 a.m. Each vendor can preserve one support vehicle behind their station, but this vehicle may not move during the event. Parking for other vehicles is available on the street on a first-come first-served basis.

    d. Any transportation of supplies during the event must be done with golf carts.

    e. Booths must stay open and stocked until 4:45 p.m.

    f. Food vendors must remain at the event, even if all food product is sold prior to conclusion of the event.

    2. Art In the Park St. Louis Hills’ Responsibilities

    a. Provide the Food Vendor with a 10’ x 10’ space for a fee of ~$350.00. (Additional space may be able to be provided at a rate of $100 dollars for each additional 10’ x 10’ space as laid out and approved by AitPSLH.)

    b. Provide power as coordinated through communications with AitPSLH prior to the event.

    c. Provide ice to food vendors during the event based on the vendor’s preordered amount.

    d. Procure permits for the use of Francis Park.

    e. Advertise food vendor on AitPSLH website, www.artintheparkstl.com, along with food offers for the event.

    f. Assist with periodic trash removal during the event.

    g. Provide a nearby (within 400 feet) dumpster for trash.

    3. Food Vendor’s Responsibilities

    a. Provide business logo and menu to be served to AitPSLH on or before July 31, 2026.

    b. Obtain any necessary Temporary Food Permits, required by the City of St. Louis, or any other agency at their own cost.

    c. Obtain any necessary permits for the use of a generator or propane required by the City of St. Louis, or any other agency at their own cost.

    d. Assume all responsibility for compliance with all pertinent ordinances, regulations and codes of duly authorized local, state and federal governing bodies concerning fire, safety and health.

    e. Supply their own tent, awnings, tables, chairs, signage, etc.

    f. Collect and file of any and all applicable sales taxes.

    g. Clean-up their service area at the end of the day, including taking trash to the dumpster.

    h. Display a poster advertising the event in their primary place of business.

  • INDEMNIFACATION


    a. Art in the Park St. Louis Hills, Friends of Francis Park and the City of St. Louis, its officers, board of directors, agents or volunteers shall not be held accountable or liable for, and the same are hereby released from accountability or lability for, any damage, loss, harm, or injury to any person, resulting from theft, fire, water, accident or any other cause.

    b. The food vendor hereby agrees to indemnify, defend, protect and hold harmless Art In the Park St. Louis Hills, Friends of Francis Park, its officers, directors, agents, or volunteers against any and all claims, derivative suits, liability, damages, and loss, including any and all costs, attorney fees, and expenses of whatever kind or nature, incurred by Art in the Park St. Louis Hills or Friends of Francis Park, which arises out of any action or failure to act of the food vendor or any of its officers, employees, agents, or other representatives.

    c. Art in the Park St. Louis Hills, Friends of Francis Park and the City of St. Louis shall not be held accountable for items lost, damaged, destroyed or left on the premises.
