Application for Camp Scherman WIT
Thank you for your interest in the Camp Scherman Wrangler In Training program.
This exciting program gives Girl Scouts entering 9th and 11th grades the opportunity to build strong leadership skills in a fun and supportive camp setting. As a Wrangler in Training, you’ll learn large-group management, programming techniques, and a variety of leadership styles. You’ll also mentor younger campers, practice teamwork, and take on meaningful responsibilities that translate into real-world skills.

Alongside your horse-focused adventures, you’ll enjoy classic camp activities and engaging challenges that make each day both rewarding and unforgettable.

To apply for WIT applicants must fill out the enclosed application as well as have two people (who are not related to the applicant ) fill out the reference forms.
Two references must be submitted for final consideration for the program. Please do not wait to send out the references. Examples of who can fill out the reference form: Troop Adviser, or Girl Scout adult, and the other and character (i.e., Leadership Director, School Advisor, etc. - NOT a relative.) The references should come from someone who knows your abilities and can share their input. The references cannot be a relative.
