How We Operate:
This form is for those Professional Fine Artists wishing to be represented by The Masterpiece Network (T.M.N) on a global scale.
T.M.N acts as a Fine Art Agent and is NOT a gallerists. This means that should you join our group of professional fine artists, your work will be offered not only to our own list of UHNW collectors and esteemed purchasers, but also to high end gallerists with a view to placing your work in their galleries.
It should be noted that we operate from offices and NOT high street galleries as our overall market place now spans 136 countries and sales are usually conducted at our client's premises.
PLUS, and this is an extremely important point which is unique to T.M.N - we employ the services of over 35 Affiliates (freelance agents) based in numerous locations around the world, to help promote and sell our artists work.
PLEASE DO NOT compare us to a directory such as Fine Art America or the Society of All Artists, as we actively promote artists and not just list them to compete amongst themselves.
Our services are provided under the terms of a formal Agency Agreement which protects both parties interests.
The main terms of our Agreement are as follows:
1.You as artist retain all title and copyright to your artwork until such time as the original is sold, when title transfers to the new owner BUT COPYRIGHT REMAINS WITH YOU.
2.We as your Agent, obtain the exclusive worldwide sales rights to the artwork that you ask us to promote. WE DO NOT, claim any exclusivity over you as an artist in your own right.
3. We charge a 50% commission on all sales of originals offered to us to promote, no matter where, by whom (including yourself to friends or family), or how, they are sold.
Example of our sales commission structure:
Your price for a piece = £1000.00
Our commission = £1000.00
Retail price = £2000.00
Therefore our commission = 50% of retail price.
