Student Teacher Dispositions
Student teaching is the capstone exercise for the Wartburg Teacher Education Program. While still learning about the knowledge and skills necessary to be a teacher alongside a capable mentor, it is expected that student teachers demonstrate the appropriate attitudes and values throughout their student teaching experience. Any time cooperating teachers indicate a “1,” the department will implement an intervention plan with the student, cooperating teacher, and supervising faculty. Any “1’s” on the final evaluation may result in the student teacher failing the course.
